Replace It with Truth

01 — READ

Ephesians 4:22–32

Read this passage slowly in your Bible.

02 — UNDERSTAND

Paul describes putting off the old way, being renewed, and putting on the new self. His examples are concrete: speak truth, work honestly, share, and use words that build others up.

Replacing a lie is not pretending that pain disappears. Receive what God says in its context, then choose an action that agrees with it. Instead of ‘I must hurt them back,’ practice truthful speech and forgiveness without abandoning safe boundaries.

03 — REFLECT

Be honest before God.

Which old response can I replace with the specific new response this passage teaches?

Keep your response private. Speak to God or write in your own notebook.

04 — PRAY

Speak honestly to God.

Father, renew my mind. Teach me to put away falsehood and live in truth. Let my words and choices show the new life You give in Christ. Amen.

05 — RESPOND / PRACTICE

Practice one faithful step.

  • In your notebook write: old pattern, Scripture in context, truth, and one act of obedience. Practice that action in your next conversation.

06 — CONTINUE

Continue when you are ready, then leave the screen and walk out what you have learned.

The next faithful step matters more than finishing a page.
