01 — REMAIN
Abide in Me
Jesus calls you not only to come to Him once, but to live close to Him every day.
01 — READ
John 15:1–11
Read John 15:1–11 slowly in your Bible. Notice what Jesus says about the vine, the branches, and fruit.
02 — UNDERSTAND
To remain in Jesus is to keep coming to Him: through His Word, prayer, trust, and obedience. He is the source of life. We cannot bear lasting fruit by our own strength.
Remaining does not mean every day feels easy. When you feel dry, distracted, or weak, return to Jesus again. He invites you to stay close.
03 — REFLECT
Be honest before God.
- Where have I been trying to live by my own strength instead of depending on Jesus?
- What would it look like for me to stay close to Jesus today?
Keep your answers private. Speak to God or write in a notebook.
04 — PRAY
Speak honestly to God.
Use these words as a starting place, not as a formula.
Jesus, I need You. I do not want to live far from You or by my own strength. Keep me close to You. Teach me to receive Your life, trust Your words, and obey You today. Amen.
05 — RESPOND
Practice one faithful step.
- Set aside ten quiet minutes today. Read John 15:1–11 again and ask, “Jesus, keep me close to You.”
- When your mind wanders, gently return your attention to Jesus. Returning is part of learning to remain.
06 — CONTINUE
Next, let the words of Jesus make a home in you.
