03 — RETURN

Jesus Is the Door

You do not come home through a program. You come to the Father through Jesus Christ.

01 — READ

John 10:7–10

Read John 10:7–10. Jesus calls Himself the Door and speaks about life found in Him.

02 — UNDERSTAND

Beit Mig’el cannot save you. Joel cannot save you. A lesson, a prayer, or a program cannot save you. Jesus Christ is the Door.

To come through the Door is to trust Jesus Himself—His death for our sins, His resurrection, and His lordship. Beit Mig’el is only pointing toward Him.

03 — REFLECT

Be honest before God.

  • What have I been trusting to make me right with God besides Jesus?
  • Am I coming to Jesus Himself, or only looking for relief, advice, or a religious experience?

Keep your answers private. Speak to God or write in a notebook.

04 — PRAY

Speak honestly to God.

Use these words as a starting place, not as a formula.

Jesus, You are the Door. I put my trust in You, not in my effort, a person, or a program. Thank You for giving Yourself for sinners and rising again. Lead me to the Father and teach me to follow You. Amen.

05 — RESPOND

Practice one faithful step.

  • Say plainly: “Jesus, I am trusting You.” Then read the Gospel account of His death and resurrection in 1 Corinthians 15:3–4.

06 — CONTINUE

Next, consider what following Jesus asks of you.

When you finish, leave the screen and practice the response you chose.
