01 — RETURN
The Door Is Still Open
You may have wandered, but you do not have to stay away from Jesus.
01 — READ
Luke 15:11–24
Read the whole passage slowly in your Bible. Notice where the son’s choices led him, what he did next, and how the father responded.
02 — UNDERSTAND
The son came to see where his choices had taken him. He did not stay in the far country. He got up and returned.
You do not come home by making a perfect speech or improving yourself first. Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again. We turn to God through Him, trusting His mercy.
03 — REFLECT
Be honest before God.
- Where have I become distant from God—in my actions, desires, or heart?
- What am I hiding, defending, or afraid to bring honestly before Him?
Keep your answers private. Speak to God or write in a notebook.
04 — PRAY
Speak honestly to God.
Use these words as a starting place, not as a formula.
Father, I have wandered. Thank You for sending Jesus, who died for my sins and rose again. I turn toward You and trust Your mercy. Help me leave what is pulling me away and obey Your next clear step. Amen.
05 — RESPOND
Practice one faithful step.
- Tell God one specific thing from which you need to turn.
- Take one honest step today: remove a source of temptation, ask forgiveness, or speak with a trusted mature Christian or pastor.
06 — CONTINUE
Jesus saves; these words are not a formula that saves. Next, learn what it means to turn around.
