02 — RETURN
Turn Around
Repentance is more than feeling sorry. It is turning from sin and toward God.
01 — READ
Acts 3:19
Read Acts 3:19 in its setting. Peter is calling people to turn to God through faith in Jesus Christ.
02 — UNDERSTAND
Repentance includes a change of direction. It is not only saying, “I feel bad.” It is agreeing with God about sin and turning toward Him.
We do not turn from sin to earn grace. We turn because Jesus is Lord, because His grace is true, and because His way leads to life.
03 — REFLECT
Be honest before God.
- What pattern am I calling normal that Scripture calls me to leave?
- What would turning toward Jesus look like before this day ends?
Keep your answers private. Speak to God or write in a notebook.
04 — PRAY
Speak honestly to God.
Use these words as a starting place, not as a formula.
God, I agree with You about my sin. I do not want to excuse it or hide it. By Your grace, turn my heart toward Jesus and help me walk in a new direction. Amen.
05 — RESPOND
Practice one faithful step.
- Write one change of direction in a notebook: “Because I am turning to Jesus, I will ____.”
- Make that change practical today. Ask for help if you need it.
06 — CONTINUE
Next, see why Jesus—not Beit Mig’el, a leader, or a program—is the Door.
